EYE IN THE SKY Episode 5 in now online!

In the winter of 2008 Audacity Theatre Lab commissioned playwrights from around the country for a unique radio theatre project. They were given unfettered freedom to respond to a simple phrase:

"For one week in the middle of the summer a giant eye appears in the sky over the city. At the end of seven days it disappears as suddenly as it had originally materialized..."

We recieved submissions from members of 13P, New Dramatists, Austin Script Works, as well as from a host of local writers.

Episode 5 includes weird, hilarious and haunting pieces by John Flores, Jeff Hernandez and Ken Urban. It features the vocal talents of Angela Parsons,Whitney Holotik, Ruth Engel, John Flores, Brad McEntire and Christie Vela.

Rhianna Mack joins the ATL club!

Rhianna Mack. Photo by Tamyra Campbell[October 2011] ATL is overjoyed to welcome our newest company member, Ms. Rhianna Mack. Having appeared in ATL productions Volume of Smoke and Milky Way Cabaret, we knew she was a wonderful actress and a delight to work with. Then she performed the solo show No Child... by Nilaja Sun with Amphibian Productions last year and astonished the entire north Texas area.

So, she's super-talented, fun and hard-working. We at ATL decided to extend her this offer: What kind of theatre does an actress of this level and temperment make if left to her own devices?

Over the next year or two we should find out. Audacity is an artist-driven company dedicated to allowing individual artists create, from scratch, their very own theatre projects.

Welcome Rhianna! For more info check her out on the ATL blog here or on her website at: www.RhiannaMack.com

Audacity's own Brad McEntire has published his first collection of plays. Now on sale!
