Ruth Engel-McEntire
Ruth is a director and sometime theatre maker. She has performed and directed both at home here in the United States as well as internationally. Her directed works for Audacity have included GRADING ON A CURVE, PENS & STRINGS, ANGEL IN THE BARN and VOLUME OF SMOKE.
She holds a Masters degree in both English Literature from Andrews University in Michigan and in Directing from Texas Woman's University in Denton, TX. She served for several years as a Development Assistant at Undermain Theatre. She is an on-again-off-again teaching artist for Junior Players and teaches Developmental English full-time at Tarrant County College.
She likes puppets, watching hulu.com and sewing things. Also, if you are with her and you pass a dog, she will ALWAYS stop and pet it, usually while making cooing noises. She and Brad got hitched in February 2012. When not directing or stage managing, Ruth usually handles box office and front of house.
